Who we are as Volunteer FirefightersWe are individuals who are ready when our pager goes off, because in our little neck of the woods, we respond as if it's our own family. Because in our community it often is. We train hard so we can serve our community with integrity to get the job done. Operating in a rural area we must be ready to adapt to new tactics for areas that may have limited manpower, unique hazards, and scene obstacles. We are prepared to be mutual aid to surrounding fire departments. We don't have scheduled shifts; every firefighter is on call 24/7 365 days a year to serve our community with pride and purpose.
